A general overview and basic introduction to the many facets of athletic training focusing on the care and prevention of athletic injuries, and the role of the athletic trainer and the sports medicine professional. (i.e., record keeping, initial injury evaluation and recognition, treatment, and legal concerns). Students rotate through a variety of clinical observations as part of this course. A.T. majors only.
