This course is designed to provide the prospective secondary-level (Grades 6-12) mathematics teacher the methods of teaching contemporary mathematics content. Topics include methods of presentation, awareness of national mathematics organizations, the writing of unit/daily lesson plans, micro-teaching of a math lesson, selecting materials, inclusionary practices, classroom application of various forms of technology, and techniques of assessment.
