Honors seminar. This course takes a multidisciplinary approach to the study of contemporary migration. The major focus is on the United States with an international context. Migration is related to many central issues for contemporary society, such as international relations, the development of cities, urban politics, social policy, citizenship, and racial and ethnic identity. Prerequisite: SOC 1000. 3 credits. Offered as needed.
