Topics include: human growth and development, learning theory, teaching effectiveness, and differentiating instruction and classroom management. Technology-assisted education. A grade of B or higher in this course is required for admission into the teacher education program. Prerequisite: Cumulative index 2.75 or higher. Field Experience: 15 hours. 3 credits.
