The course gives attention to the early Church and important figures including, St. Augustine, St. Thomas Aquinas, and others. It also covers teachings of modern Popes, the Second Vatican Council, the new Catechism, and major Catholic theologians of the 20th century, examining basic themes and the Church's response to critical contemporary issues. 3 Credits.
