This rotation takes place in an ambulatory/outpatient setting. This rotation provides students the opportunity to acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to diagnose and treat patients of all ages in an ambulatory care setting. Under the supervision of a preceptor, students progressively assume responsibility to pro- vide family-oriented primary care services, including both acute and chronic disease management, health promotion and maintenance, and disease prevention.
