Topics include: overview and concepts of project management and strategies; planning successful projects (defining, specifying, delivery of scheduling, budgeting); implementing (organizing the team, work assignments, team building, effective leadership); executing (performance measurement, maintaining the schedule, adjustments, corrections, record keeping, status reporting, communications); managing conflict; time management; performance measurement; contract documentation; data transfer; lessons learned. Prerequisites: IT 101. Lab fee. 3 credits. Fall semester; day and evening.
