[Renumbered from FA 407] A survey of the art and archeology of the pre-Colombian civilizations in Mesoamerica and the Andean region in South America. The focus is on four cultures: the Olmec, the Maya, the Aztec, and the Inca. The colonial art of a later period and contemporary art are also studied. Field trips to museums. Prerequisite: FA 1402. 3 credits. Offered as needed.
