Methods of safety research, Haddon's matrix, rating calculation, identification of accident types, methods to control causation and responsibilities of individuals, and the community for safe living. Procedures for temporary care of victims of accidents and sudden illness. Successful completion of this course leads to American Red Cross Certification in Standard First Aid and Personal Safety (includes Adult CPR). 3 credits. Every semester; evening.
