Designed as a cross-over course for students currently in other tracks of the Diagnostic Sonography Program, this lecture/laboratory course introduces the student to basic vascular anatomy & physiology as well as the indications for testing and the testing modalities utilized in the noninvasive vascular laboratory to assess the peripheral arterial, peripheral venous and extra cranial cerebrovascular systems. The student will demonstrate through testing and laboratory performance a baseline understanding of vascular anatomy and its evaluation.
