Description:

In this course the student will complete approximately 250 hours in a clinical setting away from the College. This may involve some travel for the student, and the student will be required to wear scrubs. Each student will do an 80 clock hour rotation in a retail pharmacy, 40 clock hours in a small community hospital, and 120 hours in a teaching hospital. Additionally, students will complete 16-24 hours in the setting of their choice, which can include any of the above OR a drug wholesaler, pharmaceutical company, veterinary compounding pharmacy, or possibly other sites. Every effort is made to accommodate the student's request for a specific site. In some cases, based upon work experience, "life experience" may substitute for some hours.
