In a lab setting, students will practice scrubbing, gowning, and gloving self and sterile team members. The students will master positioning, prepping, and draping of the surgical patient using aseptic technique. The students will prepare and monitor a sterile field and back table set-up, become familiar with the handling of surgical instruments, and using surgical supplies and equipment in surgery.
