This course examines the local interfaces between business and enterprise management, public policy, and community affairs. Topics covered include workforce training and development, zoning and community development, environmental issues including brownfields and greyfields concerns, public ethics of businesses and corporations, community participation and partnership roles of management, and the role of small business as a partner in community development and policy. Prerequisites: BUS 300, IDS 300 or permission of the department.
