Corrections examines all facets of the correctional apparatus in the U.S., including federal, state, and local correctional institutions. Corrections also examines all aspects of community corrections, including probation, parole, work and study release, home confinement and electronic monitoring of offenders, restitution and community service. The issue of the death penalty in the U.S. is also examined in depth.
