Juvenile Delinquency is an examination of the causes, nature, and treatment of juvenile crime in the U.S. Current issues involved in the juvenile justice system are explored, such as the efficacy of placing youths in adult correctional institutions, and the current movement to certify youthful offenders as adults. Strategies for providing humane treatment to the juvenile offender both institutionally and in the community are explored.
