Description:
-
As a member of a group, students will study group theory and research by examining the process of group formation, cohesiveness, productivity, growth, etc. Personal and interpersonal interactions will be explored. Students will have a clearer sense of the impact of the self vis-à-vis the other as they meet week after week. Questions recur: Who leads? Who follows? Who accepts? Who rejects? Who thinks? Who reacts? How does being in an accepting group promote personal growth? Prerequisites: PS 203 and 204 or with permission.
