This course introduces the basic principles and methods of epidemiology and the basic skills needed to interpret the epidemiological literature of medicine and public health. The course includes both lecture and seminar instructions; in the seminars, class discussion of cases illustrate the principles covered in the lectures. Spring 2011 and alternate years.
