Learn fundamental concepts of leadership in both the classroom and outdoor laboratory environments with activities in basic drill, physical fitness, rappelling, first aid, basic marksmanship, etc Course includes an optional ( required for contract cadets) Leadership Laboratory where students learn and practice skills and gain insight into military service and optional participation in three one-hour physical fitness sessions each week (required for contract cadets) Participation in a weekend training exercise is available. Participation in MSL 101 is open to all Pikeville College students and does not incur a military science obligation.
