Learn and apply ethics-based leadership skills that develop individual abilities and contribute to the building of effective teams of people Develop skills in oral presentations, writing concisely, planning of events, coordination of group efforts advanced first aid, land navigation, and basic military tactics Learn fundamentals of ROTC's Leadership Assessment Program Course includes an optional (required for contract cadets) Leadership Laboratory where students learn and practice basic skills and gain insight into military service and optional participation in three one-hour physical fitness sessions each week ( required for contract cadets) Participation in a weekend training exercise is available Participation in MSL 201 is open to all Pikeville College students and does not incur a military service obligation.
