In this course preservice teachers will be introduced to an integrated approach to teaching literacy skills They will learn to use concepts from reading, language, and child development to teach reading, writing, speaking, viewing, listening, and thinking skills to help students successfully apply their developing skills to many different situations, materials, and ideas Prerequisite: EDR 331 Pre- or corequisites: EDU 202, EDU 301 and EDR 332 (Should be taken before admission to the Teacher Education Program.)
