This course seeks to explore the role of extraordinary women as that is exemplified in the Hebrew and Christian Scriptures with a view toward understanding the theology of woman as it is presented in the Judeo-Christian tradition. The course will first present on overview of the Judeo-Christian theology of women and will then exemplify this theology through the lives of seven extraordinary women who embody that theology. Prerequisite: ENG 101. Designated women's studies course.
