In this course students learn the process of critical thinking and how to apply that process to the analysis of case studies. Students learn methodologies and tactics for handling various law enforcement situations, ascertaining needed facts, and assessing needed responses. The course also provides instruction on the techniques used in controlling compliant and non-compliant suspects, weapon recovery, and intermediate weapons.
