Description:

Immersion in authentic French culture and language through work with videos, audio CDs, and texts using real conversations and works of literature. Active participation in pairs and small groups and whole class discussions leads to high novice or intermediate-low level of proficiency in speaking, listening, comprehending, reading and writing French. Prerequisite: completion of, or concurrent enrollment in ENG 101. This course may be used to fulfill three semester hours of the General Education Arts and Humanities requirement.
