Description:

This course is based on supervised placement in a community agency providing mental health services that include equine assisted learning. An appropriately credentialed (i.e., M.A., M.S.W., Ph.D.) mental health professional employed by the agency will serve as the student's site supervisor; a Midway College faculty member will serve as faculty supervisor. The work the student engages in will provide practical experience to complete knowledge obtained in the classroom and offer the opportunity to gain and practice professional skills and explore career options. Prerequisites: EQS 300.
