In this course students learn to evaluate the horse using concepts of eastern medical thought. Eastern veterinary medicine will be presented in comparison to the approach of western veterinarians. Emphasis will be on awareness of acupuncture as a treatment option and the equine therapist's use of acupuncture points for treatment. Prerequisite: EQS 215 (formerly numbered EQS 205) and EQS 359.
