Schools are an institution of the society in which they exist. As such, schools are assigned subjects/topics to teach in schools to address issues of society. The course will address mandated subjects such as Health, Practical Living, etc. As mandates change the course will adjust. Since schools are primary agents of socialization, cultural values, attitudes, and diversity as well as gender and societal influences will be addressed. Designated professional studies course.
