This course emphasizes the integration of theory, research, and practice necessary for understanding, influencing, and impacting positive behavior changes in children and youth. Emphasis is placed on identification of observable behaviors, performing task analysis, structuring learning environments, selecting and implementing behavior management strategies, and utilizing methods for monitoring behavior changes. Prerequisites: Completion of EDU 360 and EDU 315 and admission to the Teacher Education Program. Designated professional studies.
