Students in this course will examine feminist discussions of mothering along with those of child care specialists. In addition they will consider and reflect upon their own experiences and the ways in which they contribute to knowledge of the subject. Students will construct knowledge of dimensions of mothering and its effect upon women, men, and children. Designated as a women's studies course. Designated professional studies.
