This course explores the expanding utilization of technology in the educational setting. While major emphasis will be placed on the microcomputer in both the stand-alone or network setting and the laboratory or distributed environment, other technologies such as calculators, CDROM, television and interactive video, digital cameras, etc. will be considered. Technology will be approached from both the aspect of assisting the educator with the instruction of students and in preparation of presentation materials, record keeping, etc. Also listed as EDU 201.
