Terrorism poses a complex threat to the homeland requiring responses from a variety of different agencies at each level of government. This course introduces the governmental response to the threat posed by terrorism at the national, state, and local levels, the legal framework developed to make it easier to detect and deter terrorists who have gained entry into the U.S., and the ethical issues which arise in this context.
