An introductory laboratory providing studies in the scientific method, microscopy, structure and function of animal and plant cells; morphology, physiology, and taxonomy of plants; heredity. Two laboratory hors per week. Animal dissection not required. A student will not receive credit towards graduation requirements for both BIO 104 General Biology I Laboratory and BIO 156 Principles of Biology Laboratory. Prerequisite or co-requisite: BIO 103 General Biology I lecture. Designated professional studies course.
