This course is a study of the multidisciplinary study of the structure and function of the environment. Topics include ecosystems, energy cycles, food chains, nutrient cycles, global climatic patterns and the effects of pollution and other human activities on these systems. Three hours of lecture per week. Prerequisite: BIO/BIOL 8 hours, CHEM 170 and CHEM 171; co-requisites: CHEM 175 and CHEM 176. Also listed as ENV 304. Designated professional studies.
