Initial clinical evaluation of injuries to the lower extremity (spine, pelvis, hip, thigh, knee, thorax, abdomen, lower leg, ankle, and foot) commonly sustained by competitive athletes; evaluation of the injury/illness for the primary purposes of administering proper first aid and emergency care and making appropriate referral to physicians for diagnosis and medical treatment.
