2 hours This course provides a structure for providing future elementary teachers an opportunity to use concepts from emerging literacy, reading, language and child development to teach reading, writing, speaking, viewing, listening, and thinking skills and to help all students successfully apply their developing literacy skills to many different situation, materials, and ideas. This course focuses on assessment and evaluation and teaching strategies for grades 4-6. Prerequisites: EE 303 and CI 220 (Spring)
