Central topics include understanding how nations use both military action and cooperative agreements to provide for their security and well being: understanding the causes, consequences, and proposed solutions for the massive gap that has grown between the wealthy and the chronically impoverished and starving of the world; and the emerging challenge posed to humanity by the environmental degradation of the earth.
