Topics include enzymes, membrane transport, metabolism, gene expression, and the chemistry of biomolecules (proteins, nucleic acids, carbohydrates, and lipids). Prerequisites: BI 115-116, CH 331, and CH 333. CH 421 is a prerequisite or a corequisite for CH 422. Credit five hours total. (Fee $60)
