Description:
-
Professor and student will discuss how scholars, churchmen, laypersons, and others have viewed the meaning of history - particularly in the formulation of theories for the rise and fall of civilizations - and how God has worked above, in, or below in the recorded lives and events of the past. Emphasis will be given to progressively exploring each theory and how these either mesh with or contradict the main currents of Philosophies of History from the Christian Worldview.
