Special problems encountered in video and audio broadcasting and recording outside the studio environment. The principles and techniques of video production as used in broadcast news gathering and public relations releases will be an important aspect of this course along with editing procedures. Linear and nonlinear editing will be discussed and used. Electronic news gathering projects with various creative field assignments will be used. Credit three hours.
