This course provides an overview of a balanced and integrated approach to teaching literacy in the elementry grades (A separate section is taught for the Middle/ Secondary grades). Education majors are taught how to integrate reading, writing, speaking, and listening strategies and activities as they teach students how to read with fluency and comprehension. Credit two hours. (Fee $20)
