This course provides an introduction to the basic concepts of digital imaging as applied to photography. With hands-on experience using applicable technology, modern developments are presented that lead to applications of digital imaging combining traditional photographic ideas with electronic media. Students have the opportunity to learn how to operate image manipulation software using scanning equipment, software tools and output devices by executing new assignments and applying these technologies to their photographic process. F,S. Students are responsible for providing their own digital camera.
