Students will read feminist critiques of science and technology with attention to the ways in which science reinforces existing power structures as well as the ways in which feminist scientists work to challenge those structures. Readings include work in feminist epistemology and standpoint theory, as well as critiques of feminist philosophy of science. Prerequisite: a 100-level course in philosophy. Spring semester.
