Illustration is visual art created in dialog with the written word. Students work with self-selected texts and create imagery using variety of media (gold-leaf, printmaking and painting techniques) and approaches (abstraction, collage, fi gurative imagery). Projects may also include service projects for the community. Prerequisite: ART202. Lab fee. (Alternate years.)
