Focus on understanding the personalities of the rulers, the rise of parliamentary government, the interaction of England and other European nations, and the rise and decline of the British Empire. Included are discussions of how Shakespeare and Hollywood have depicted and often distorted English history. Fulfills the Historical Perspective of the General Education requirements.
