Study of a given genre from the perspective of the screenwriter. Students write an original outline for a feature film as well as the first act of a feature in the specific genre. Honing critical skills, students engage in analytical and aesthetic discourse about their own work, as well as material written by others. Prerequisite: VM 320. (Semester varies)
