Develops an understanding of the current "digital revolution" from the filmmaker's perspective,exploring film grammar as it applies to digital formats. Covers such topics as how to achieve film-quality results with a DV camera, limitations and benefits of the DV format for lighting and camera movement, and necessary steps for shooting DV and blowing up to 35mm. Prerequisite: VM 230 or VM 240 or VM 241 or VM 250 or VM 260.
