Course explores the fundamentals of ballet technique for beginning students. Through the traditional class sequence, students become familiar with ballet terms and technique. The class begins at the barre and progresses to center combinations, which emphasize the development of musicality, flexibility, strength, and control. May be repeated for credit. Prerequisite: permission of the Dance faculty.
