Studies the historical understandings and practices of the major belief systems of the world, such as: animism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, and secularism, and secondary groups that have developed from them. Gives attention to approaches of the basic problem of humankind as compared to Christianity, with particular attention to the Christian Scriptures and the unique person of Jesus Christ. Prerequisites: BL110, CP295. Offered alternate years.
