Addresses issues in the history of philosophy. Examines the thought of pre-Socratic philosophers and ends with the Christian philosophy of Thomas Aquinas. Also examines key historical figures, such as Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, St. Augustine, and St. Anselm. Also includes the thought of various Eastern and African philosophers. Prerequisite: CP295. Offered alternate years.
