Observes, assists, and teaches physical education within a secondary school setting under the direction of a cooperating practitioner and supervised by a college supervisor. This practicum is required of all secondary physical education majors. The classroom includes regular students as well as special needs students. Six weeks. Prerequisites: In addition to the Movement Arts major, PE221, PE311, PE312, ED310, ED243, ED311, PS240, IN299, a cumulative GPA of 2.5, and approval of teacher education faculty. Options offered are Pract: PE 5-12.
