Designed to introduce students to the basics of web design. The course will cover the history of the Internet and the World Wide Web; how the WWW works; web page design and layout; web site organization; working with graphics and graphics tools; hypertext markup language; cascading style sheets; Flash and Dreamweaver. The course is meant to be a hands-on experience where students will be introduced to material in lectures, readings, laboratory exercises, class discussions, projects and tests.
